Here's a chart of the different funding fees charged by the VA and normally financed into the loan amount. As a veteran if you are receiving 10% or more disability you are exempt from any of the above funding fees, whether it be your first time use or subsequent using of your VA benefit.
If you are purchasing a home in California, and are 100% disabled vet youre entitled to an exceptional benefit, and if your income is over 40,000 you'll have 100,00 of your purchase price will be exempt from property tax. If your income is less an 40,000 you will be eligible for up to 150,000 of value will not be assessed for property taxes.
